I am remodeling the bathroom in master bedroom. Is ceramic tile or marble better for bathroom floor and walls of the shower stand? The bathroom size is 70 square feet and the house is in California in case the answer is regional.

Ceramic is better financially as it usually cost less, but for a houses resale value, the marble is more attractive.
I suggest you find out what the "Comps" are for homes like yours with both. You can ask a local real estate agent for comps to get an idea if the extra money invested in marble is worth it.
Also, ceramic has more choices as the patterns are endless. I personally like Spanish tiles. Just DON’T put up ceramic "marble" tiles, they are dated and can be seen as tacky.

Another thing to concider about using marble in the bathroom is the moisture content. Marble, being limestone, will get damaged over time due to moisture, and in extreme cases, will beging to disolve. As I too live in California, the only real issue is the actual location of the home, type of neighborhood, etc. Put too much into the home, and although the resale value may be higher, you probably wouldn’t get your investment back. If you live in an upscale neighborhood, then it’s up to you. I like marble, granite, and other natural stone products, but tile has a lot more options at a lot lower price.
TILE.
If you use natural stone be sure you use granite.
For shower stalls, I have given up on any material that uses grout. Our current house has cultured marble made with the same acrylic as hot tubs. The shower stalls look good and keeping them mildew free is a breeze. The only seams are at the corners and they are caulked with a white silicone caulk that does not mildew.
