Hey, I’m going to be remodeling my bathroom soon and need some help deciding what to use for my walls. I want something that’s inexpensive but looks nice. Also, I’ve heard that using sheet rock in a bathroom is bad because of the amout of moisture in a bathroom. Is this true? Can someone please help me with some ideas?

Are you asking for advice on how to decorating the existing walls or starting from scratch & putting up actual walls?
In respect to decorating. I painted my walls using a method I call "Garbage bagging" you put a base color on the existing wall, let it mostly dry, then you take a new color, mix with glaze for added texture and roll it over base color, take your garbage bag slap it up on the wall, the more creases th better, rub your hand over the bag so it all sticks to the wall then peel off. It leaves behind a cool looking texture design.
It’s very inexpensive & looks Great!
Another idea for a "new" look for those of you with shower doors:
take curtains (the 1/12 window size or smaller) and put them on a shower rod just under the ceiling to decorate the top of your shower stall & hide those bottles we tend to place up there.
Well I do quite a few bathrooms and I use ceramic tile a lot and it can really make it look nice using your imagination mix matching different color tile and putting a few real nice designed tile every so often. Tile are very easy to take care of and you can make it look real good.
If you use tile they make what is called hardy backer which is a concrete type board and is not effected by all the moisture.
If you are painting or what ever else you decide they make what is called green board which is made of the high moisture areas normally used in bathrooms.
When I was at the out banks this year I walked around some of the new homes that were being built and noticed they have a paperless drywall now for that sole purpose of moisture control. I guess it is popular down there but I haven’t seen anything about it in the Ohio area
i would say use tile badge is a great color for it to. i ‘m not sure about sheet rock never heard of it.
hope I’m a big help.
