I would like something more durable than plywood. I am thinking of something like recycled plastic or concrete composite flooring.
This is a complete remodeling of the bathroom, which includes moving a wall. I have had a lot of bad experiences with water and would like something very strong and very waterproof.
Please advise ? My past searches for products and techniques have not turned up much that was useful.
remodeling bathroom.. not sure what type of flooring to put down in our bathroom. We do NOT want a tile floor, but what else works good in a bathroom where water wont be an issue on the floor… anything?
I am looking to remodel my bathroom in the next few years and am wondering how much it would cost to remodel the bathroom. I am not looking for anything super fancy. I do want to replace the sub flooring though so I know that I’ll have gut most of the bathroom. Any ideas???
In our bathroom, we would like replace tub, sink and toilet. We’d also like to put down new flooring over the existing vinyl. On some walls we will strip wallpaper and paint. On other walls and in bath area we might re-tile. What is the best order to do these things to minimize bathroom down-time and expense.
Basically, I want to replace the bathtub, toilet, and sink, Plus re-do the flooring and sheet rock the walls. The house is on a concrete slab and has a regular size tub. I want to install a garden size tub. What order would I need to do everything? I’m thinking 1. Tub 2. Walls (because they have thick ceramic tiles from the 70′s) 3.Sink and toilet 4. Floors? Does that sound reasonable or do I have it in the wrong order?
Old farmhouse bathroom, no ventilation, mold and peeling paint, plaster walls (would like replaced with sheetrock), new tub, vanity w/sink, medicine cabinet, toilet and flooring. Approximately 9′ x 5′

I am looking to remodel my bathroom. The bathroom is very small! About 5 ft wide and 6 1/2ft long. Just to give you a visual of the layout-
when you walk in there is a tall cabinet to the left, a short/single sink vanity on the right, a normal toliet on the left next to the cabinet and the tub/shower is situated in the back of the bathroom. Our flooring is old and would probably need to be replaced as well. All in all, I would like to replace the floor&tile,vanity,shower,toliet, and add a different storage area. Please give me input about how much you think this would be or suggestions on design/layouts for the bathroom.

I have a kitchen that is 13′ by 7′, and a bathroom that is 5′ by 7′. For the bathroom, I am looking to reglaze the tub, retile the walls and floors, new sink, toilet, and new cabinet. For the kitchen, I’m thinking of refacing the cabinets, getting rid of some brick on the walls (?), and retile the floors. The flooring in both rooms will probably be laminate. Any rough idea as to how much this could cost? I don’t plan to go overboard by getting the most expensive items, as a budget comes into play here.

A house we’re looking to buy has an unfinished master bath. All that is there is the framing, the insulation, and the plumbing to install a toilet and either a large shower or a small soaking tub. Ceiling, drywall, paint, mirrors, light fixtures, flooring, toilet, tub, fixtures, all are needed. Any ideas on cost would be appreciated. Thanks!
Im redoing my sons bathroom, very small area, just where sink and commode are is about 4×6 feet. other side is shower stall. I am considering doing it in garage style and anything goes. am looking at parts washer for sink, tool box for vanity cabinet, diamond plate wallpaper, lots of chrome, stainless, galvanized, stuff. The flooring has me stymied. Looking for something like a hard surface you would find in a shop or garage, but i have particle wood floor base. He wants a concrete look. Please throw any ideas my way for things to do to this bathroom, i pretty much will try anything.
