This is my husband’s idea of fixing things: He "fixed" the leaking faucett in the bathtub by doubling the hose and securing it with duct tape. The faucett no longer leaks but I have to shower because the tub faucett has no water. He "fixed" the dryer exhaust by scooting the dryer to the middle of the floor instead installing a new exhaust hose that wouldn’t collapse when slid against the wall. How can I get him to fix things right? We’re not rich enough to get a handyman to do everything and I don’t think I should have to learn to do everything while he sits and watches TV.

Well my wife and I just moved into a new house and she wants to install a bigger bathtub in the master bathroom. She said she doesn’t need it to be a jacuzzi tub just that she wants a larger tub. She wants me to do it. I’m a mechanic and I’m usually quite the handyman but I’m assuming that installing a bathtub is probably a pretty big job. Can anyone explain to me the way to do it or know of any sites that explain it so I can decide if this is too big of a job for me?
