The medicine cabinets and shelves are a lovely maple wood construction. They are almost new and are very well made. So we want to keep them but I’m not sure what color of tile will look good with them.
Any one who supplies a link to color samples is more likely to win this one. Thanks in advance!
The tile is on the floor and on half of the walls and on the shower…the tile is pink with white swirls in it. I am replacing the cabinets and coutertops and I don’t now what color to paint the walls. The pink is a real pink it is not light pink or dark just a standard pink.
I want a modernized look
What’s avalable for wall covering, I don’t want to use wall paper or wood panel due to the humidity, & moisture. How about plastic panels or similar something that’s easy to install & clean. Any good suggestions out there??? No tile either
Removing a steel bathtub and convert it into a walk in shower, with an integrated cultured marble pan, tile walls, and a Delta shower faucet.
I’m moving into an older home with a retro-ish bathroom. It’s tiled with granny smith apple green and white tiles. Do you have any suggestions for accent colors? Decoration ideas?
I can not afford to re-tile the room. I think I can make it work.
Thanks for your tips

I’m going to gut the entire bathroom but keep the window in the tub area. The wood is rotted and it’ll have to be be replaced. Can I put the new tile right next to the window opening or use this wood-like composite material that looks like window trim? Any other ideas are most welcome.

Ok so I have decided to remodel my bathroom. Most of it I will be doing myself. I am just wondering where I should start? Here is a list of things that will be done:
1. Take down old pink tile and put new tile in
2. Put in new bathroom sink/vanity
3. Put in new toilet
4. Convert bathtub to shower/tub combo ( there’s pink tile around the bathtub as well) I will not be doing this myself. I am going to hire someone to do this.
Any advice would be great

My niece had her 1yo baby taken away from her by CPS. I want to take her and have been asked to, so I’m having a home inspection coming up. I am cleaning, cleaning, cleaning!!!! I have a bathroom that we are in the process of remodeling, and there are places around our shower that don’t have tile yet. So, underneath shows. Does anyone think this will be a problem?
We have an old small shower that we want to take out and install a bathtub. We know that we will need a plumber to move the plumbing over one wall, the current knobs and shower head shoot north to south and need to go east to west. The drain should be pretty close, may need to move a bit front or back. If I bought materials and took out the old shower, how much would a plumber charge to hook up the tub for us? We will tile, caulk, etc.
Thanks.
I hate my bathroom. I have a blue toilet, bath tub and sink. I dont have a ton of money to replace everything so i wanted to paint the tub, sink, and vanity and i was going to replace the toilet and the fake wood floor with tile. My question is is it possible to paint the tub and sink from blue to white and will it last?
www.magicmoulding.com / Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much you pay a contractor to renovate your bathroom. If they don’t get the basics right, you are the one faced with a lifetime of disappointment. This bathroom was installed without leveling the tub and now extra care has to be taken whenever its used. This is the most common mistake made installing a tub, so we’ve changed the angle of our Shower Splash Guard from 90 degrees to an overlapping design to allow for these mistakes.
We are remodeling our bathroom and while we were tearing out the cupboards we found that there are three layers of linoleum, the bottom layer of which is asbestos. We can’t afford to have a professional come out and do it. Is there any way that we can remove the tile ourselves? We don’t want to encapsulate the floor either, we just want to get the asbestos out of there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The remodeling project will include double sinks w/ granite counter tops, tile on floor and in shower, upscale faucets/shower head, new toilet, etc. We are not sparing much for expense and I think it will look great, I just wonder if it will look as nice to other potential buyers down the road without a tub.
We do have another bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
